Okay this is what we will be making, Don't worry its not that difficult to do, if I can do it then anyone can do it.

Okay lets begin,
Open a 600x600 pixel canvas, don't worry you can resize later.
background #d6e0d4, foreground null.
Preset Shapes - Ellipse, Draw a small ellipse in middle of your canvas

Add drop shadow vertical & horizontal 0, Opacity 46, Blur 3.00 Color Black,

Retouch tool - lighten/darken, Round size 10, Hardness 0, Thickness 100, Rotation 0. Opacity 40, Mode RGB, Swap mouse buttons - ticked.

Add some lines on your petal, untick swap mouse button add some highlights

Duplicate petal 12 times, using your pick tool move each petal round until you have something like this

Save
Now we have 3 petals left over, resize these 80% and place around your bottom layers, just to give the flower some depth, hide your background layer by clicking on the eye in your layer pallete
Click on any petal layer and merge visible.

Duplicate your merged layer then go to Image - Mirror, you should now have something like this
[image]

You may have to erase part of your petals, where they overlap
Take you eraser and on your bottom petal layer, just erase the parts that stick out.

Merge down, rename to petals.

Save

New Raster Layer
Selection tool, circle, draw a small circle in the middle of your flower, pick a contrasting colour and flood fill selection
Selections select none,
Effects - Texture -Fur with these settings
Blur 59, Density 100, Lenght 21, Transparency 40

Now all thats left is to give your flower middle some depth,
Click on your petal layer, retouch tool - lighten/darken same settings as before except change the size to 109

Place this over your middle and click around until you get effect you like.

I added some darkness all over the finished flower to darken it a little.

Merge visible and your done.

See that wasn't too hard was it.

All thats left for you to do is post it here so we can all see your wonderful creations.

If you need any more help, just let me know and I'll try to help out. Just remember a tutorial is only a guide, experiment to make the flower your own.
